Salvador de Bahia es definitivamente una de las ciudades con más encanto, samba y ritmo de Brasil. Para qué hablar de la alegría de los bahianos o de su exquicita comida que mezcla a las perfección lo mejor de la cocina originaria y africana. Una ciudad que desborda colores, aromas y que está indudablemente marcada por África: no hay que olvidar que Salvador de Bahía fue uno de los principales puertos de esclavos africanos. Eso dejó una huella imborrable en sus tradiciones, costumbres y religión.

La ciudad está edificada entorno a un acantilado y a la iglesia Ajuda edificada por los Jesuitas en 1549 y que se extiende por toda la península y la Bahía de todos los Santos.
El acantilado mencionado divide a la ciudad en Alta y Baja y como vía de acceso entre ambas un ascensor que data de 1873.
La Ciudad Alta se destaca por sus edificios gubernamentales y casonas y la Ciudad Baja por ser zona comercial y portuaria.
Todos los turistas no pueden dejar de visitar la zona del Polourinho, ubicado en la Ciudad Alta, por conservar aún el estilo colonial de la época y pasear por sus calles empedradas y estrellas, visitando conventos, iglesias y observando la arquitectura de Salvador en colores pasteles.
Son varias las iglesias y catedrales que se pueden visitar en la ciudad bahiana, como la Catedral de Nossa Senhora Rosario dos Pretos, La Iglesia de São Francisco, con sus interiores decorados en oro, la Iglesia do Carmo, La Iglesia do Bonfim y la Iglesia Nossa Senhora da Conceicao.
Otro de los atractivos es visitar el Faro da Barra, que data del siglo XVI y que servía de guía a los barcos que navegaban por la Bahía de Todos los Santos. Allí se puede apreciar la Isla de Itaparica muy cercana a la costa.
A la Isla de Itaparica se puede llegar en barco o ferry que parte a diario desde la Bahía de Todos los Santos. Es ideal para pasear por toda la isla, practicar surf o nadar entre los arrecifes de coral.

En época de Carnaval (febrero), la ciudad se llena de vida, fiesta, música y bailes. El Carnaval de Salvador está considerado una de las fiestas más grandes del mundo junto con el de Río de Janeiro y dura una semana completa sin interrupciones. Como si esto fuese poco, el mayor atractivo del lugar, son los más de 50 kilómetros de playas de arenas anchas, tropicales y de aguas cálidas. Imagine that they’ve even built a city with snow. All the major museums are free, so money is not lost even if you can just squeeze in an hour of your child’s attention span for art. The British Museum is huge and almost impossible to see in one day, but focusing on specific areas your child might be interested in cuts down on time. The Tate Modern and Britain also offer family-fun activities. The boat ride between the two galleries is also a fun way to see London from the Thames River. Another quick stop for Harry Potter fans is Kings Cross Station for a quick picture at platform 9 ¾. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are great for running around. Bring a loaf of bread to feed the ducks along the serpentine or play in the Princess Diana Princess of Wales’ Memorial playground. Another break from museums is riding the London Eye—essentially a giant Ferris wheel operated by British Airways, this thirty-minute ride is one of the best aerial views of London.
If the kids (or adults!) are not too tired by the end of the day, the famous West End theater district has shows that are kid friendly. Billy Elliot, Wicked, High School Musical, The Lion King are just some of the kid-friendly productions in London’s famous theater district.

The charming New York city really comes to life during the Christmas season, I've never been there but I see movies, I read, I see TV shows, all that stuff that really makes me dream about visiting one day that big luminous city covered in white.
I’m sure I’m missing a wonderful and great season. I can see a picture in my head of a town that is always luminous, a-twinkle with light from early evening to late dawn; the always musical town moves to a lively continuous carol: Silver bells, silver bells, it's Christmas time in the city.

If I could afford I would like to plan a holiday season trip with all that I deserve. Christmas Shopping on 5^th avenue. Ice skating at Rockefeller Center or Wolman rink in Central park… New York Christmas sights… New York Christmas Dinner… all like in the romantic Christmas dinner

Me fue a Barcelona este verano y me encanto mucho . No me importaria vivir y trabajar ahí. Gaudi es la referencia en casi toda parte de la ciudad y casi todas atraciones revolven en ello.
